luk since guanine n cytosine r complementery bases so if guanine izz 10% so cytosine izz also 10%..... nw frm chargahff rule....i.e. da ration btwn adenine, guanine, cytosine, n thymine r constant n equal to 1...n hence nw gunine+cytosine=20...hence adenine+thymine=100-20=40......since adenine n thymine r complementery base...hence..adenine=thymine...hence....thymine= 40....so da ans izz 40%
