no... but the cycle becomes a bit more painful with copper T, and spotting (bleeding per vagina) may occur which can be confused with early menses

hello..if u are asking specifically about Intra uterine devices then, there is effect on menstrual cycle.However results are not applied on everyone but there may be menorhagia wichg means excessive bleeding with increased frquency.also, other methods of contraception like contraceptive pills also causes irregularities in cycle.All the best Dear:):)
