hey guys.. i know biology is an easy subject to those who can retain huge amounts of info in their brain..but there are certain shortcuts... somethings can be done to make things easier..that is the purpose of opening this forum...plzz share your cheat codes here.. useful ones will be rated surely..let me start...u all know tissue system..there are many types of tissues..let me tell you those of squamous epitheliummsquamous..mesothelium , endothelium, henles loop , lungs alveoli, bowman's capsule , ...it can be memorised as MEHAB ... cuboidal epithelium proximal tubule(PCT), pancreatic duct , distal tubule(DCT) , germinal epitelium of

i mean which blotting technique is used for what...
southern blotting is used for DNA analysis
Northern blotting is used for RNA analysis
Western blotting is used for proteins
an easy way to memorise this...
south matlab Dakshin... DNA..
west matlab paschim ( or purab.. i'm awful with directions anyways...).. Protein..
aur bacha hai north our RNA.. so thats the only other match...
UAA , UGA, UAG,
now.. it is very easy to remember..
but there may be students like me who forget it a wek after memorising this piece of information..
so, here it is..
UAA - ullu aaya aaya
UGA - ullu gaya aaya
UAG - ullu aaya gaya..
another one..
catadromous and anadromous migration..
catadromous - fresh water to marine water
anadromous - marine to fresh water..
one simple way..
we are freshwater ... if someone comes to our house, we say..
ana , ana ... ie marine habitait to fresh water is anadromous..
when someone goes.. we say.. tata - catadromous.. i.e if an organism leaves freshwater and enters marine - catadromous...
thyroid cartilage
cricoid cartilage
arytenoid cartilage
corniculate cartilage

tere cricket area me corn kyon ug raha hai.
tere - thyroid
cricket - cricoid
area - arytenoid
corn - corniculate
kyon - cuneiform
and the last one is epiglottis.. u have to remeber that..
a good thing is that the initial sounds are same...it makes this easier..
somethings in ecosystem chapter..
sucession is an easy topic..
but the stages( in order) in lithosere and hydrosere are sometimes confusing...
so, i have made a nasty mnemonic... but good enough to hold it in you brains for about a week...
lithosere...
Lao Mein Abhi Pehle se Shuru Karoon...
Lichen stage
Moss stage
Annual grass stage
Perenial grass stage
shrub stage
climax community
hydrosere
PSuedo FoRce Se Work Karo..
plankton stage
submerged stage
free floating stage
Reed swanp stage
Sedge stage or marsh meadow stage
woodland stage or scrub stage
climax community
hope it helps..
it is also somewhat tough to remember...
so, another nasty mnemonic for this..
Pehle Chemistry Hame Correctly Teach karo..
Phanerophytes - above 10cm from ground level
Chemaephytes - below 10cm from ground level
Hemicryptophytes - occur at ground level ( eg rosette plants)
Cryptophytes - occur below ground level - eg rhizome etc
Therophytes - perennate in form of seeds...
On - olfactory
Occasion -optic
Of - occulomotor
Party [ tea] - pathetic[ trochlear]
The - trigeminal
Attractive - abducens
Faces - facial
Are - auditory
Girl - glassophyrengeal
Visitors - vagus

howz that! these are tyhe types of cranial nerves in sequence !!!!!!!!
hope this will help u to remember all nerves .....
hello guyz... i have come out with some new and very needed ones...
here....
first is the electron transport chain during photosynthesis...
there is one Z- scheme and one cyclic pathway... cyclic pathway is the main one and is most important as Z-scheme is just an extension of cyclic pathway...
so here it is..
plastoquinone(PQ) ----> reduced plastoquinone(PQH2)-----> FeS ---> cytochrome f (cyt-f) ---> plastocyanin (PC) -----> P-700---> FeS --> Ferradoxin (FD)------> cytochrome b (cyt b) ---> again PQ...
now... this can be memorised as ... Parrot Pocketed fully filled plastic cans 700 to Fill its Food breaking site
breaking site = cyt b
food = Ferradoxin
Plastic can = plastocyanin

Gall bladder
Intestine
Pancrease
Stomach
Bile duct
Intestinal glands ( crypts of leiberkuhn )
Gastric glands ( oxyntic cells and cheif cells)
this can be memorised as Go In Puraani Sabji mandi In Goa..
ciliated columnar epithelium
Respiratory tract
Auditory canal
Fallopian ducts
Tympanic cavity ( i.e middle ear)
Ventricles of brain..
Rukh At FTV .... or Fur Vala RAT ... both are equally good...
