None

the lowest concentration of nitrogenous wastes occur in the

renal artery

afferent arteriole

renal vein

vena cavae   why plz xplain

the number of nephrons in kidneys is equal to                                kcet 2002

sum of bowmans capsules & malphigian corpuscle

the number of bowmans capsules

double the number of bowmans capsule

sum of bowmans capsules and glomeruli                ans given is 2 is that right plz xplain how

for ques 1.... answer is renal vein.. because in kidney, nitrogenous wastes are eliminated out .. hence, renal veins will have lowest nitrogen waste concentration.. i.e cleaned blood leaves kidney via renal vein.. so answer is 3..

for the next one... i think answer is 3... i.e number of bowman's capsule.... all the nephrons of human body will have bowmans capsule ( and also 1 glomeruli) ..

bowmans capsule + glomerulus = 1 malphigian corpuscle.. hence all nephrons iwll have 1 malphigian corpuscle in human body..

hence.. no/- nephrons in our body equals number of bowmans capsule, equals number of glomerulus, and also equals number of malphigian corpuscle....

plzz correct me if wrong..

I think the given ans i.e. (2) is correct. B'coz every nephron contains one Bowman's capsule. Hence no. of nephron is equal to d no. of Bowman's capsule.

Again each nephron consists of one glomeruli and one bowman's capsule which together form one malpighian body. It seems the last option is also correct, but no. of nephron is equal to either the total no. of glomeruli or total no. of bowman's capsule... but not equal to the  no. of both.Again it is equal to the no. of malpighian capsule , but it is absent in the options !!!! Hope it is clr nw .......

oh sorry.. my mistake.. i gave the right answer but wrong option... read the text.. i have written number of bowman's capsules only.. since it was in the third line, i mistook it as option 3..

ANS 1 is Renal vein bcoz it carries blood away from kidney so it will be pure

All the options in Q 2 is substructures of a nephron and present singly in every nephron so total number of nephron is equals to number of bowmans capsule or glomerulus or malphigian corpuscles(glomerulus and bowmans capsule collectively constitutes this)

i think u have got my point if not so plz tell me
