Gametes are the haploid cells produced by hte cells of the body which are involved in reproduction(by fertilisation.)IF SATISFIED PZ RATE ME.

Reproductive cells of an organism(sexually reproducing organisms) are called gametes or germ cells or reproductive cells which divides by meiosis only( for haploid nature).for example male gmetes in humans are called sperms and female gametes are called eggs or ovum
