The evaporation of water from the leaves of plants throught the pores, is called transpiration.As water evaporates all the time, it has to be renewed continuously from the roots, so that water moves up the plant, from roots to leaves, via stem, to be transpired into the surroundings. This movement is called, TRANSPIRATION SYSTEM
