Which pigment system is inactivated in red drop?Please explain.

 Q1) Which pigment system is inactivated in red drop?Please explain why.

 

Q2) In scurvy post transcriptional modification of proteins fails to result in the formation of:

1)lipoproteins  2)tryptophan  3)hydroxyproline  4)histidine.

PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW.KINDLY DON.T SIMPLY STATE.

Red drop occurs in presence of monochromatic beam of wavelength greater than 680nm. At this wavelength PS II doesnt function as it has P-680 as the reaction centre. Hence, at red drop only PS I functions
