well basic concepts remains the same .. but i think as of wat i felt whn i was in class 12 is tat, NCERT is not design to help ppl practise .. sometimes it becomes imp tat u hav seen stuff before .. so tat u can do it fast ...

so some refrence books etc are advised.

well it is still an IIT .. it gives u a btech degree .. so it is same .. the name does not matter whetter it is called IIT BHU or IT BHU

yeah .. they are like just two names .. a student can do exactly the same thing which a person in CS would do staying in the IT .. so it is possible ..

moreover, i wud say tat the job prospects are pretty similar

yes i think maths is all about practise .. but thr is a catch .. u shud be sure tat u understand wat u do n not just blindly solve things .. conc on speed . so tat u can do things quick n fast .. it does help .. n ofcourse on accuracy ..

well one thing to understand is tat whn u get out of IIT .. u need not necesarily join the field u did engg in .. i wud say 50% ppl do sometihgn completely new .. this is the beauty of this place .. n thus ur salary .. the company u join wud totally depend on ur skills .. which u develop in IIT .. these skill need not just be academic, but others like public speaking and wat not ..

In the first glance most people wil reject organic chem as something very much illogical and a subject which u just need to cram .. however tat is not the case, it is indeed a logical subject ..

my teacher , arun kulshreshta .. taught me in very logical way and there are patterns ..

u need to understand the basics, then slowly build on .. do not forget tat more u learn n read the various reaction more quickly can u do stuff ..

well 8 months is not ta very appropriate time .. but thn u never knw .. if u work really hard u can do it .. but again i think tat u will never b able to do tat quickly on ur own ... I shall strongly suggest tat u join some coaching class so tat u can get in flow

u need to be capable and not the son of tata or birla .. if u have the thing required to make it in a gr8 place u can make it .. it is purely on merit ..

however u are too young to decide wat u want to do in life .. I wud strongly suggest tat u conc on ur engg at this moment .. and let things happen and decide with time tat wat u want to do
