hey pls help me

i am getting cse at iiit hyderabad

and electrical at bhu i have done a lot of research and surfing and it has all come down to this-----bhu is better in terms of placements(yes its true)

in terms of reputation both are approximately equal

and 55%people have suggested me iiit-h and 45% remaining bhu

i have no obsession with cse as such and i have to decide within 2 to 3 days

please post your opinion

india today rankings are absurd and they do nothing more than misleading and misguiding the innocent and unaware lot of us and even more help the magazine in lowering their reputation and earning mocks and laughs directed at their resultless and irrational efforts(rankings)

remember only to prefer nit trichy warrangal surathkal and allahabad to jadavpur we do not know much about jadavpur that is why we give jadavpur a backseat it is a very good institute the only problem is a bit of regionalism prevailing there.

just bcoz bhu has intakes through jee but is not an iit is not at all a reason for it not being good as many of u have said above; such arguments are completely senseless and baseless it is an established and reputed institute but yes if u are getting mechanical both places then bits would be a better option

so what between electrical bhu and biotech/metallurgy at roorkee?????????????
will the tag help me with branches like metallurgy and biotech(just 1 year old at roorkee)
or will the stream help me at bhu

i have chances of a good branch in bhu and a not that good one at roorkee and guwahati

which one would give me best returns provided i am consistent at studies and actually HOW important is the IIT brandname??experts also reply please.

and yes IIIT h does not allow finance companies at the time of campus placements which do give a higher pay than technical recruiters. in terms of technical recruiters IIIT h is good but today mosi iitians qualify campus interviews of finance companies and work with them
