1) (X-X1)(X-X2)+(X-X2)(X-X3)+(X-X3)(X-X4)

 +(X-X4)(X-X5)=0 have equal roots when

x2=x4=k; find max value of 1.x1*x3*x5

2.x1**x5.

2) find

two roots be x1,x2;

x1+x2=-b/a;

x1x2=c/a;

 = -4x1x2;

on substuting ans

=(4b^2-4ac)/a^2;

using 2b=a+c; we get x1 & x2;

  seperate two terms  , divide  in the second

case ,apply limits , first case as n-> first term->0

use newtons formula

u get

g'(x)=cos^4(x)

now integrate ,constant c=0 , use newtons formula

u get

g(x)=integral(cos^4(x))+c=0;

cos^4x=cos^2x * cos^2x;

replace 1 cos^2x by sin^2x;

u get g(x);

replace x by x+pi; u get the answer.

hope it is useful.rate me if it is correct!!!
