Hello everyone!!

we have learned that when we heat a substance the frequency of radiation goes on increasing with temparature. For example say Iron firstly on initial heating it emits dull red, then red then white then blue and so on,

So my question is that can there exist such a material which has very high temparature of vapourisation which on too much heating firstly emits frequncies which are within the spectrum of vision and finally emits only ultra violet rays and thereby becomes INVISIBLE????

Just use the relations :

(F-32)/180=(C-0)/100=(K-273.15)/100

You will get the answer. have a try at it

Cheers......

Hey you are wrong !!
Have a look....

stretching force F = YAdel(L)/L

k=F/del(L)=Y*A/L

since it can be considered as a series combination of springs

Therefore net K = (k1*k)/(k+k1) ie. k1*Y*A/(k1*L + Y*A)

as T= 2pi(m/K)1/2

on substituting

T=2pi[m{(k1*L)+(Y*A)}/k1*Y*A)1/2

Plz correct me if I am wrong Or else Rate my correct answer
