i should be that Electric field is conservative.that's cozJEE wants to test you n not confuse you..they will mention the conditions accordingly

A very fundamental and simplistic approach to a topic that is many a students nightmare!!!!!The book aptly covers all the syllabus of JEE organic chemistry and icing on the cake is done by the questions based on the current pattern of JEE.....a must have for all those who think that organic is tough to crack.

I think its bcoz the ignition mixture(mostly gases)can be kept ignited only when source of ignition is below if their is no source of pressure(as in case of instruments used by pyrotechnics in which flames can be directed on any direction).

Hello Pathfinder,
I am a middle class student living in ghaziabad.I have passed out my twelth this year and gave JEE and AIEEE also. But I dont expect to clear JEE.I have been a topper throughout in school and as such everyone had huge expectations from me.Now everyone is blaming my failure on the fact that I didn't take coaching from delhi(FIITJEE,VMC) etc.
But my reason behind not taking coaching was financial problems as well as my will to succeed on my own.Now I've decided to give JEE another try and this time even my parents are forcing me to go for regular Delhi coachings but I know how much pressure its gonna put on them.I want to know if correspondence course can provide enough guidance (alongwith test series) or is it a necessity to take coachings for success at JEE.Also if it is necessary, which coaching in Delhi is value for money? Please reple ASAP.
                                                                                              Thanks

Hi khushi, listn(or read) you are confused about 2 very different things.
Rate constant is frm kinetics. It is actually a parameter to measure the rate of a reaction ie: how fast or slow  a reaction proceeds towards completion.Higher the rate constant, faster the reaction n vice versa.
Equillibrium constant comes in use when you are dealing with reversible reactions in Chemical Equillibrium. While the expression for both the constants may raise the confusion, equi. constant is a measure of how fast the reaction proceeds towards the equillibrium stage(and not towards completion as in rate const.).
Moreover, equi.const.is of two types depending upon the nature of reactants and products while rate constant largely depends upon the order of reaction(Rate law!!?).
if you understand(or not) u can ask me again or mail me at loneranger@yahoo.co.in

Hi friend, althoughthere is no such thing as best book, especially for MATHS.all you need to crack maths is understanding of basic concepts n a hunger for solving fresh problems. As for the concept part,I would refer:
1.IIT mathematics by M.L Khanna
2.TMH(need not do all the problems.try those that have a striking concept involved)
Besides you should keep on solving objective questions, model papers(those available online anywhere are good)since the above books are mainly subjective.
For objective:
1.IIT-JEE Challenger by Disha publications
