Simply because the inertia of the body always tries to oppose the change occuring in its state of motion thus the pseudo force will obviously act opposite.

Then Ma'am can you explain these lines directly from I.L. Finar--

" Acc to IUPAC system of nomenclature, the class suffix are -dioic , trioic but----
When this method leads to cumbersome names, the alternative scheme is to regard the carboxyl group as a substituent, and the name of the acid is then obtained by adding the suffix carboxylic acid, e.g----
HOOC--CH2--CH2--COOH 1,2-ethanedicarboxylic acid
or ethane-1,2-dicarboxylic acid. "

Acc to me the name you gave is sufficiently cumbersome.
Please do reply Ma'am.

The name will be ---

4 Methylidine hept1,5 diene

In the second question I think (A) is wrong because H-bonding should increase bp of CH3F.

In the 4th question
M=39+35.5+48=122.5
No. of mol of KClO3=4.9/122.5=0.04
Thus mass of 02 to be released = 3X 0.04 X 16=1.92gm
Thus % decomposed = 0.384/1.92 X 100 =20% Ans
Am I correct.

I can't believe you

Prove it by solving HC verma Part 1 Pg 98 Q 23 at least.

this is because any subshell acn accomodate 4l+2 electrons and since when completely filled will have 4l+2/2 e- of same spin as there are 2 types of spins possible +0.5 , -0.5
Thus 2l+1 is the answer

At absolute zero though matematically volume tends to zero but it is not at all practical.
Thus, it is said that all molecular motion ceases in the gas at absolute zero

You must first know the first day of the year.
Find the total no of days to the date from 1st Jan .
Find the reminder after dividing by seven.Seek the day at the distance as the reminder and you get the day.

MONOBASIC ACID --It is an acid that releases one H+ ion on dissociation. It can also be said that the no of H attached to O atoms in an oxy acid because only these are available for losing by acid.
Ex--HCl has basicity 1.
Similarly there are dibasic acids.Ex. H2SO4etc
In case of inductive, electromeric and mesomeric effects the main concept is that electromeric effect is temprory and occur under the influence of any attacking reagent and the other two are permanent.
Another effect called inducto meric effect is temprory.

Inductive effect occurs through single bond due to the pull or losing property of any group. It does not occur through space like the direct or field effect discovered by INGOLD.

Mesomeric effect is the permanent displacement effect for electrons .It provides stability to molecules. One should always remember that electrons engaged in it are not free to be lost ie for basicity.

"Aromtism is also a kind of supra resonance and gives more stability."

At the end get this statement by Sir INGOLD--
"The amount of displacement produce in the shared pair of e- between two atoms when a unit charge is brought up is a measure of the polarisibility of the bond." -----relate to mesomerism".

Ooops
I made a mistake .
Since k may or may not be constant thus k must also depend on x but inversely thus as x increases k decreases
I think answer is (B). because it is already given that it is SHM.

The answer is (D) because we must never forget that in SHM force or the acceleration is directly proportional to -x

Ma'am how do you give priority to a single carboxylic group -- why not the middle one. Try out the IUPAC site....

I can't get it.

rather than an ether as far as I can decide

In chloroform molecule due to the inductive effects of chlorine atoms H atom should be acidic but yet since H atom is attached to the same carbon as chlorine it should be neutral.

In the first question --------
Ethyl alcohol gets dehydrated to give ethene CH2=CH2
which then reacts with Cl2 to give
OH--CH2---CH2--Cl
Thus Z is ---2-Chloro ethanol Ans

I think that A3 should be the better solvent because it will be a better hydrogen bond donor, if I am not mistaken.

1. The H+ ion is picked up by the C1 by the lysis of the double bond because it has more electron density than C2 due to more hydrogen .
+
CH3--CH--CH3 _
2. The presence of acidic medium ionizes water and OH are produced. _
3. The +vely charged C2 picks this OH .
Thus , propan-2-ol is formed.

Do rate me if satisfied !
