i'm in BIT mesra.no ragging at all.stop scaring the shit out of ppl.a lil research work might hav helped u write the truth.

yeah its true that brand NIT isnt enuf.there r other colleges apart frm those already mentioned like Jadavpur university(kolkata) that hav built for themselves reputation over the past several years even before NITs came into being.nd not all NITs are GOOD!!!the ones in durgapur,jamshedpur,silchar arent the best.it'll take time before they can really match up wit the big guns in the business.wat say guys!!!!

from my AIEEE assam state rankin of 30,i have figured out from previous records that available options r mechanical in bhopal or a better branch in lesser know NITs such as jaipur,durgapur,surat etc.wud it be better if i just opt for electrical,mechanical or electronics&instrumentations in Jdavpur Univ???my WBJEE rank permits me to do so.suggestions also welcome as to wat other branches in other NITs wud be better than the ones already mentioned.i really need help,from where i am......i cant lay my hands upon great advices!!!!need to come to a decision fast.dates approachin.please please help!!!!!

i am Pritam Bhowal from the state of assam.i have secured an AIEEE state ranking of 30 and a national rankin of 11730.wat options do i have???which wud be the best NITs??i blong to the general category.i have also scured a general rankin of 476 in WBJEE.i have options of mechanical,electrical or electronics and instrumentation in Jadavpur Univ.what shud i opt for.wud jadavpur b a better option than many NITs??please help.am approachin counsellin dates.
