A couple had two little mischievous boys, ages 8 and 10. They were always getting into trouble, and their parents knew that if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons would get the blame. The boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The clergyman agreed and asked to see them individually. So, the mother sent her 8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in the afternoon. The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?" The boy's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there with his mouth hanging open. The clergyman repeated the question. "Where is God?" Again, the boy made no attempt to answer. So, the clergyman raised his voice some more and shook his finger in the boy's face and bellowed, "Where is God!?" The boy screamed and bolted from the room. He ran directly home and dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him. When his older brother found him in the closet, he asked, "What happened?" The younger brother, gasping for breath, replied: "We are in real BIG trouble this time! God is missing, and they think we did it!"

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the Holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot Of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell." They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy Man said, "I don't understand." It is simple," said the Lord. "It requires but one skill." "You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."

Aha! i had told you that you would get replies suggesting you to go for different replies. One suggestion by me is that you look out for books to get your basics right. Don't think of solving problems at this time. You may take time for it. Because if you have your basics right, then solving problems might come in handy.
Well, i see many people opposing Morrison & Boyd. Hmmm... Let me know your study habits. I mean the time you consume usually in learning a lesson, how far would you understand them.... Are you going for any coaching institution?

Let me tell you that there are plenty of IIT Chemistry books available in the market, of which many are equally good. And you may find that different people would suggest you with different books.
I'll tell you, different books suite for different people. However, note that once you have a book with you, you better stick to it. Don't listen to others. Follow it religiously. Heard that Morrison & Boyd is really a good book to when it comes to concepts/theory. You may go for it, since you got enough time.
I don't know whether would it helpful to you if is say the books i use and how are they. I own Arihant books, for all inorganic, organic and physical. My review about the book is that, they are good ones. The theory is given point wise which makes easy to learn. That's what i like the most in them. BUT, it may be seem to be tough and you may start cursing it if you are not good at your basics. They have some solved examples at the end of every chapter, some problems to solve on your own, some MCQ's.
Alright friend, it's upto you. JUST FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF A PERSON YOU ARE, AND THEN CHOOSE THE BOOK THAT SUITES YOU. As a hint, i would ask you to check out text book's reviewed in GoIIT.
Wish you good luck...

Microsoft vs MikeRoweSoft
Trademark Infringement
MikeRoweSoft.com was initially registered by Mike Rowe in August 2003. The name chosen because of the phonetic similarity to Microsoft, while still being a bona fide use of his own name. However, Microsoft saw the domain name as trademark infringement and in January 2004 requested that Rowe hand over the domain name. He was "amazed and appalled" at this, and replied back stating his intention not to hand over the domain name.
Microsoft replied back, offering to pay his out-of-pocket expenses in return for the domain name. However, this came out at only $10, insulting Rowe. He responded, asking instead for $10,000. However, in doing this, he unwittingly fulfilled one of the criteria for proving a bad faith domain registration as set out in the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy; namely, that as Rowe had offered to sell the domain name to the company for profit, it was considered evidence that he had no right or legitimate interest in the domain name. Microsoft declined the offer, and later that month sent a cease and desist order spanning 25 pages, arguing that Rowe had always intended to sell the domain name for profit - thus appearing to be cybersquatting - and insisting that the ownership of the domain was transferred to them.
When Rowe received the order, he went to the press, spreading publicity for the case, and causing Microsoft to rethink their strategy. They admitted that they may have taken the case "too seriously", and recognized his creativity in the domain name. However, in the interest of protecting their trademark, Microsoft stated they were "in the process of resolving this matter in a way that will be fair to him and satisfy our obligations under trademark law."
Settlement
Later that month, the two parties reached an out of court settlement - in return for transferring ownership of the domain to Microsoft, Rowe would have his expenses paid, help moving to a new site MikeRoweForums.com, a subscription to MSDN, an Xbox, training for Microsoft certification and an all-expenses-paid trip to the Microsoft Research Tech Fest for him and his parents.[1] The legal documents from Microsoft's lawyers were later sold on eBay for over $1300.00. [2] In January 2006, his site at MikeRoweSoft.com moved to M R Studios.net.

Let me tell you something... physics used to be the most boring subject ever for me. The fact is, i had even asked my teacher's as soon as i finished my 10th whether was there any such thing where i could drop physics and study bio instead of it. Of course, they laughed at me as anybody else would have done.
But things got better later. And know it is one of my favourite subject.
I'll tell you, pick up H.C.Verma and carefully study the chapters in there. If you simply browse through, then you are a loser. Later try solving answers given at the end. I'll tell you something here. The problems are so scientifically designed, as go on solve problems, it makes you learn the concept. That's the specialty of the book.
Hope, physics doesn't bother you in future....
