Hello sir! the first thing i would recommend is that you get him admitted in CBSE board. right now take no tension and ask him to concentrated on his basics. If his concepts and basics are clear he can solve any problem. then the next important thing would be his coaching. look out for the institutes which produces maximum IITians and please verify them. the best books would be H.C. verma for physics and arihant for maths! for any further queries, you can mail me at "stormyboy26592@yahoo.com". Best of luck!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

- if u get rank 2000 in JEE, there are Very  Very less chances of u gettin' into IIT BOMBAY.
-See it depends on the branch u want. i u r interested in comp.sciences and want to get only through IIT then of course u should take another shot on it.
- dont think that u won't be selected. Be positive and confident in urself. You will surely get admission in IIT b

HELP ME WITH THE FOLLOWING QUESTION
                                                                                           x
Let f(x), x>0 be a non negative continous function and let F(x)= f(t) d(t), x>=0.
                                                                                           0
If for some c>0, f(x)<=c*F(x) for all x>=0 then
(a) f(x)=0 for all x>=0
(b) f(x)=x for all x>=0
(c) f(x)=x*x for all x>=0
(d) f(x)=1+x*x for all x>=0
