Photo electric effect is when a light ray strikes a metal object. Glass is a super cooled liquid and hence photo electric effect does nt work

I feel tht in mechanics atleast we solve many problems to get a grip over it as they involve many concepts.But initially we must also be very through with the concepts.I feel tht H C verma provides enough test in our basics.Its a good book.

How to re ask a form if not satisfied with the reply?

U asked a typical question.The answer fro this is very complicated.If U cosider the orbit of centre of mass of earth(May be u dont know about this at u r class),then it is elliptical.But if u take a point on the earth other than the COM, it's orbit is very complicated.The orbit of COM is elliptical and not circular.Ellipse means it has two centre of foci.Now when the earth comes near the Sun in its orbit its speed increases inorder to balance the centripetal pull and its speed gradually decreases as it moves away from the Sun.Read this:

Physucs is very easy.Dont read the problem as though u r going to solve ,then u ll change the real motive of the problem and get the solution of u r created new problem but not the acutual question,Hence read the ques with free mind and the understand the ques by imagining the problem(like in mechanics we can imagine each and every situation.)Then start solving and the ans is obvious.But initially keep all the priciples and concepts clear.

How to solve this ,

A man is drawing water from a well using a bucket which leaks uniformly.When full the bucket weighs 20 kgs.after it reaches the top its weight is 10kgs.The depth of the water in the well is 20 m.Find the work done.

The answer is 3000J and i think it is correct.iam not getting the answer

Consider your self standing on the ground and abserving a train moving in front of u. you see the objects of the train moving.This frame is said to be inertial frame i.e u can use Newtons laws to describe the motion of the train and objects in it.Now place u r self in the train itself and now see an objet inside the train It will be at rest with respect to u as u both have same velocity and the relative velocity between u and the obj. is 0 now u cant discuss the motion of the obj. This frame is known as non inertial frame.and Newtons laws cant be applied.

Conside a mass connected to a string (which is initially taut).When a sharp force is applied on the mass for a short duration, the velocity of the body in the direction of the string is zero (else the string snaps).This is compensated by a tension know as Impulsive tension.
