yes it is q/E0.

since due to induction, in the inner part of the cavity -q charge is induce and on the outer part of conducting sphere q is induced.
the flux coming out of box is q/E0 due to q.

i am not able to upload the image but still i'll try to explain the question to all.

2 resistors are connected in series.  point a is on the left of R1, c on the right of R2 and b in b/w R1 and R2.
If a piece of wire is used to connect points b and c in , does the brightness of
bulb R1 increase, decrease, or stay the same? What happens to the brightness of bulb R2 ?

hope u understood the question. plz do ans!!

R1 and R2 are the resistance of the 2 resistors.

You charge a parallel-plate capacitor, remove it from the battery, and prevent the wires connected
to the plates from touching each other. When you pull the plates apart, do the following
quantities increase, decrease, or stay the same? (a) C; (b) Q ; (c) E between the
plates; (d) V ; (e) energy stored in the capacitor.

also answer the questions for the situation in which the battery remains connected to the capacitor while you pull the plates apart.

plz give reason too!!!

A/A0 = N/N0 =(1/2)t/T

as A0=N0
AND A=N
AND N=N0 e-t
therefore,
A=A0e-t

Adsorption occurs only at the surface of adsorbent.
absorption occurs thru out the the adsorbent.
Adsorption's rate keeps on changing( first is high and then decreases)
absorption's rate is constant
in, Adsorption, the conc at the surface is different from the bulk
in absorption, the conc is same thru out

It is a colloidal dispersion in which the dispersed phase and dispersion medium are two immiscible liquids.

catalysts are those substances which when added to a chemical reaction, change its speed without undergoing any change in itself.

physical adsorption-this is that type of adsorption in which a gas is held to the solid without the formation of chem bond and only by van der waal forces.
it is non-specific and reversible in nature. it has low enthalpy of adsorption as it involves only van der waal forces.

chem adsorption- in this the gas is held to the solid by a chemical bond.
it is highly specific and irreversible in nature. its enthalpy of adsorption is high.
