if ur good in XIth and XIITH math and programming(c++ java etc.) goin for cs.if ur good in XIITH physics- krichoff law problems (tough ones) goin for eee.

pays depends on the company selecting u on ur performance and orientation, application.

eee vs cs: always remember cs is a one track only dealing with computer's while eee can later be pursued in various field's including computer's , placements and the future can never be predicted all the industries have ups and downs and some cont. to remain the same.

i ve heard that if u choose eee later u can choose cs if u decide 2 do M.Eng after u r B.Eng , but in bits only conc. on ur BE bcoz u directly get a placement.Dont worry u can choose any one of em then change i the 2nd yr if u score 9.0 out of 10.0 in the 1st yr that is.The course content is d same for 1st yr.So all d best!!!

dear iitians, how much time does it actually take 2 complete an mtech eng. degree( in ME or CS or EEC or EEE) through iit. starting frm btech i.e pls mention the break up, also tell me the yrs if u start frm an REC with BE hw long will it take 2 reach mtech(iit).

All BITS offer only BE(hons) if u do a BE or btech it is the same in case of BITS . if u want 2 persue ME or Mtech later then it does not matter coz u hav 2 ans gate etc. but if ur doing BE frm bits then go ahead coz it is d same as btech coz even if u do it frm goa,hyd etc. finally u get a cert. from pillani(affiliated to ) and if u have this u are assured top placement compared 2 doing a btech in any other eng coll. except d iit's.I asked almost the same Qest to a BITS official at a seminar 2 day's back.

My friend would like to know if u can answer GATE and pursue m.tech in aerospace eng. after doing a full time polytechnique(3yrs) diploma in mechanical eng. after 10th.And how long will it take if possible do u have to start frm b.tech then or what pls help.

what was/will be the minimum cutoff % for Amity btech programs i.e CSEng,ITEng,AEROEng,MEng

he is right any thing can happen don't totally rely on the cutoff keep other opts open have a consistent operation/fighting plan so u r ready when the results come.
