Well scored in BITS dude.I suggest you go for pilani 'coz you've very little chance of getting any stream of your choice in IITs in either BTech or Dual. And BITS pilani is on par with IITs even better than some of them....

give ur ranks in JEE n AIEEE.....w/o them how will u expect anybody to guide you?.... oops! this is wrong place...

there'll not be much change in the trend.....of course there'll be a 200-500 ranks shift either way.....thats obvious...IITs provide the CML students with brochure which shows the opening and closing ranks of previous year.......that'll actually misguide the students....for ex the one who has interest in comp sci. but not under the rank range of previous year will be going first for other branches (which come in his rank range) in choice list or vice versa....very few go by their genuine interest in the field......hence the trend continues.........but this is a very serious issue.....iits say they announce prev years ranks for reference!!!

prefer mechanical first....its one of the core n evergreen branches....

go for pilani...........it is better than hyderabad.........and also it has a good campus life.....

it doesn't depend on percentage.it depends on you.

this year the demand for aero has gone down.........but even then u have a very little chance of getting it......
