 dear ,

for NIT 200 is a fine score u might be around 11000 rank and chances for less preferred NIT s are high.

but u might get some less preferred branch in better NIT and in 2nd or 3rd counselling it will improve  for sure. all the best.

dear ,

dear considering the paper this year there are chances fr u to b less than 3000 on the optimistic side ...are very high plz dont worry u ll get thru.

acc to me u shud lie around 2700 aprox. all the best.

 well dear,

deemed universities are better than colege just chk that any of the deemed university is not in the list of 44 barred university. if so ur future might be in trouble look fr other details also in regards with placements and all.....

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Non IIT Institutes -> should you take a low level engineering stream in iit or go for iiser mohali keeping the future pros -> Go to message

 first of all dear student just let me know wat is low level engineering .

dear go fr engineering in which u have keen interest then only u have any future prospect otherwise u ll work as a machine who is to work and u ll work with no interest. even if u get ur desired branch in iit its gud and if u have interest in iiser then go fr it ,jst think for a while and decide.

 A protein produced by plasma cells and lymphocytes and characteristic of these types of cells. Immunoglobulins play an essential role in the body's immune system. They attach to foreign substances, such as bacteria, and assist in destroying them. Immunoglobulin is abbreviated Ig. The classes of immunoglobulins are termed immunoglobulin A (IgA), immunoglobulin G (IgG), immunoglobulin M (IgM), immunoglobulin D (IgD) and immunoglobulin E (IgE).

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Integral Calculus -> what is the definition of definite integral -> Go to message
This Post 5 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 1 votes )   [?]

 A definite integral is an integral

 int_a^bf(x)dx

with upper and lower limits. If x is restricted to lie on the real line, the definite integral is known as a Riemann integral (which is the usual definition encountered in elementary textbooks). However, a general definite integral is taken in the complex plane, resulting in the contour integral

 int_a^bf(z)dz,

with ab, and z in general being complex numbers and the path of integration from a to b known as a contour.

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Zoology -> urine formation??????????? can some one explain me??????? -> Go to message
This Post 5 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 1 votes )   [?]

three processes occurring in successive portions of the nephron accomplish the function of urine formation:

  1. Filtration- of water and dissolved substances out of the blood in the glomeruli and into Bowman's capsule;
  2. Reabsorption - of water and dissolved substances out of the kidney tubules back into the blood (note that this process prevents substances needed by the body from being lost in the urine);
  3. Secretion- of hydrogen ions (H+), potassium ions (K+), ammonia (NH3), and certain drugs out of the blood and into the kidney tubules, where they are eventually eliminated in the urine.

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Zoology -> Where does cellulose digestion in herbivorous mammals takes place? Appendix or Caecum -> Go to message
This Post 2 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 1 votes )   [?]

 Herbivores fall into two groups, depending on where in their gut microbial fermentation takes place. Some, the foregut fermenters, have an expanded and modified fore-stomach, that is either like a bag (sacciform), as in ruminants such as cattle and sheep, or else is partly tube-like (tubiform) as in langur monkeys. In the hindgut fermenters, fermentation takes place mainly in an enlarged caecum, which is a blind diversion of the gut between the small and large intestine; or in the large intestine itself, the colon. Those in which fermentation takes place mainly in the colon are typically large, and include dugongs and manatees, elephants and the odd-toed ungulates (horses, zebras, tapirs and rhinos). Fermentation in these animals takes place mainly in the front part of the colon (the proximal colon) and if they have a caecum at all, then this seems to function as an extension of the proximal colon, to form a single fermentation region.

 well dear,

there is practically no difference when we refer to BE or Btech well theoriticaly Btech is supposed to be more practicle oriented than BE rest there is not much difference.

 every compound or element look for stability which is there nature for stability they would combine and join themselves together or break themselves under special condition to be stable.. Unstability could be because of  size , presence of ions etc......

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Organic Chemistry -> why do you need organic chemistry. Who is the father of organic chemistry. what is the first compoun -> Go to message
This Post 5 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 1 votes )   [?]

 Robert Burns Woodward is considered as the father of modern organic chemistry some people also argue that Friedrich Wohler is the father of organic chemistry as he was the first person who synthesized urea and was a pioneer of organic chemistry. Well the need to understand living organism and use vital hydrocarbon product such as urea and soap thats why it was studied.

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Magnetism -> SIR IS THE DE BROGLIE LAW APPLICABLE FOR LARGER PARTICLES?IS IT A HYPOTHESIS OR A LAW? -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]
lambda = h / p

recall that h is Planck's constant

This wavelength is called the de Broglie wavelength. The reason he chose the momentum equation over the energy equation is that it was unclear, with matter, whether E should be total energy, kinetic energy, or total relativistic energy. For photons they are all the same, but not so for matter.

Assuming the momentum relationship, however, allowed the derivation of a similar de Broglie relationship for frequency f using the kinetic energy Ek:

f = Ek / h

it is a hypothesis based on Einstein relationship

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Mechanics -> can the motion of an artificial satellite around the earth be taken as SHM -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

SHM is the motion of a simple harmonic oscillator, a periodic motion that is neither driven nor damped. A body in simple harmonic motion experiences a single force which is given by Hooke's law; that is, the force is directly proportional to the displacement x and points in the opposite direction.Body oscillated about equilibrium .whereas in case of satelite motion is not oscillatory its rotational.
