Even I am in the same situation, same rank and same seat allotment.  Is there any chance of getting a decent NIT with a decent branch??  I am from UP, so no chance of Home State NIT.  Can we get Mech/Elect in NIT Jallandhar or something similar?? Please reply.

The Admissions Office at BITS never pick up the phone.  Nor do they reply to e mails.  I anybody has any info regarding this, please reply soon as I have to deposit fees tomorow itself

I have got a wait list in BITS. I wnat to ask if the Rs 15000 deposit is refundable if I get a seat but dont accept it. According to their site(http://www.bitsadmission.com/adquery/wlinstr1.htm), The candidate, who has accepted the offer to be placed on the waiting list by remitting the advance fees, cannot withdraw from the competition and claim refund of fees. What does this mean?? If suppose I get B. Pharm and dont want to take it, will I not be entitled for a refund??

My AIEEE Rank is 22k. I will get JIIT CSE or ELEC. and Thapar Civil or Chem. What should I choose? Is there any chance of getting a NIT at this rank in the fourth counseling?? Replies are welcome. Plz quote the closing ranks of fourth AIEEE counseling if u can get it.. Thanks a lot.
