Look, its very difficult to crack JEE with mere self study... you do need a proper guidance.. And anythings possible if you've got enough nerve.. It is tough, no doubt.. But when the going gets tough, the tough gets going! As @ACE mentioned, be thorough with basic concepts and build things over them... and go after perfection... excellence will follow. :) ALL THE BEST!

Please explain this.... when we choose home state quota, the ranks displayed for open category are state ranks or AIRs? please reply urgently!!!

I am neither an expert nor an experienced...but from whatever i have heard, BITS stands amongst the top 5 IIT's ... your AIEEE score is good... but why not keep all options open? my score in aieee is around the same as yours... but its riskfree to keep all ways open...go for BITS as well...and normally, bits is a little bit easier than aieee...plus you have an advantage over english...its scoring...

Yeah...you know what, there should be be re-exam for everyone...that would do justice....I mean what do they expect..?? students were completely drained of energy and enthusiasm by 12:00... whats the point in lowering the cut-off?? this was indeed the biggest blow...!

Hey look.... firstly know that everything happens with a reason....which is best... few months back, even i didnt feel like studying at all...though reasons were diff... but just stop and think... ask yourself, will all this matter 10 years down the line?? you say you like a girl.... i say, just wait and think, is this really worth it? may be something better is waiting out there....be brave .....about studying, just take a book, decide that come what may, today i'll not move....keep saying in mind ''KEEP ON KEEPING ON''.... keep praying to God, help me, guide me....keep reciting whenever you feel like your attention is getting diverted.....you'll see that help will come to you through people or somethin else.... just keep faith and believe that you are best.... there will be a lot of time later to think about other aspects of life.... right now, keep your focus...in your will is God's will.... all the best

If we look at the whole thing, this wasn't the USUAL standard of JEE at all..... Whats more, there was fewer negative marking!!! Everything seemed to be a cakewalk for students...APPARENTLY.... But the funniest part is until now, I havent met a single student scoring above 350 marks..... This just proves that being just Intelligent is of no use unless you have perfection.... 3 Idiots got it right..... Excellence ke piche bhago, success apne aap piche dekhega.....!

Who are you kidding??? JEE requires rigorous hard work of two years!!! Dude, watch your intercept and take the right decision at the right time.....Go for AIEEE or something else....!

I say, one year is quite enough if yu really work sincerely...but for once, introspect urself.....I knw many people who studied for JEE just for the sake of it and ended up neither in IIT, nor AIEEE...its upto yu..... if yu do hav potential, start working hard frm now on....take the right decision at right tym.... all the best!!
