Sir
I am a student of class 12 (Intermediate i.e not CBSE) preparing for IIT-JEE.I am lagging far behind in the portion for JEE as I had more or less wasted my 1st year.I have joined Fiit-jee's all India Test Series and have written a few exams, before writing the exam I had finished half of mechanics, indefinite and definite integrals,Trigonometry, limits, functions and nothing in chemistryMy results were horrible, many of my 10th class (CBSE) friends did better than me and pretty well at all India mlevel as well, I was shocked as I was much better than them in studies at school as well as in other competitive exams involving MPC.
I asked them how far they had finished thei cyllabus for the exam their reply-"It's over",well all this has given me some sort of boost and I have started preparing hard for the exam and have decided to become a

.I have realised that in the exam I had done many silly mistakes in phy,the Maths paper was supposed to be very tough though I had done a few questions and was able to solve almost all the questions from limits and fuctions later in my house.I feel that if I finish the portion I can compete with the others.I attend a class room coaching which consumes 5hrs from my daily routine therefore I am thinking of stopping the coaching and studying at home as it would easily add another 5hrs of self studying time to my schedule.Should I go ahead and stop? And will I be able to complete the portion in time?
One of the main reasons why I am lagging behind is that I had no idea about the book to take up.It is only now that I think I have found the right material.
