Dear Freinds,

I am in a gr8 dilema ..... I haven't qualified 4 iit n didn't score well in aieee. I had made up my mind completely to drop a year n had already started my prep. But in the mean time my dad had applied 4 some management quota and he has even managed to get a seat in comp. sc. in MVIT in Bangalore.I am in a dilema whether I should  stick to my previous decision (i.e. drop a yr.) or let things to happen. Coz i am still dreaming about getting into IIT. A nd I assure u all that i have the capabilities to crack the iitjee. Plz help me to get to a decision............

A parallel plate capacitor is connected to a battery. Would u do +ve or -ve work  in moving the plates closer????

confusions have a very strong grip on me 'coz I always end up in some or the other confusions........For example , today i got stuck up wid this problem....

 

Two identical capacitors are connected in series. A dielectric slab is inserted between the plates of 1 capacitor, the battery remaing connected so that a constant potential difference V is maintained.Describe qualitatively wat happens to the charge, the capacitance, the potential difference for each capacitor.

Take capacitance of each capacitor to be C.
