HI i live in kolkata..........if you want admission to JU OR BESU which are concidered the top 2 engineering institute for WBJEE you have to score rank below 2000...................however in 2009 there was 40,000 students were addmitted............but in 2010 it is expected to absorbtion of upto 60,000 including both private and govt............if you like my answer then dont forget to rate me.

you have not mentioned in which course you want addmission? if you want to do b.tech or b.arch you have to appear for iit-jee 2010,which is going to be held on 11.04.10 last date to fill the form is 07.11.09(online) 14.11.09(offline)......if you dont want to do the mentioned course then visit-www.iitd.ac for more information
