see point is not fiitjee predictions went wrong...they went wrong last yr as well but students were happy as everybody got better rank dan expected....this year there seems to be no uniformity ...too much variation is there ...most ppl are disappointed...particular ppl hav done well....variation is 2 much..sample this::

a guy having 260 has not got thru

me getting 255 has air 2950 but my frnd with 230 has air3053(unlikely dat 25 m will hav only 100 studs) but one wid 270 has 1513 (i mean 1500 students in 15 m is ridiculous) cause one guy wid 260 has 1992 and another wid 245 has 992 lol

and its just ridiculous that vmc that has 8-9 in top 100 each yr has just 2 in top 100 and 5-6 in top 500...wtf??

theres sumthing seriously wrong in da system 4 me ??

boo to all those who spread rumors

after the seemingly endless day and long nites of waiting....the day u were all waiting for is here. as ur future lies less than 16 hrs away, its definitely worth a look back at the jorney that was and which seems is gonna end here. the 2 yrs of hard work, tense moments, tests, tests and more tests.....they all came down to THE DAY 8 april 2007...and the feelings i had in the leadup to that day are simply undescribable...it was like getting ready for a battle....and then the euphoria when the paper finished and how easy it seemed....but many peoples worlds came crashing down the next day after seeing the solutions and the soaring marks of all around them....and for the past 50 days all concerned have been fighting their heads about cutoffs and ranks...i beleive there are 2 factions out there....one is the rational group which beleives cutoffs wont rise above 170--200 as the jee is after all the jee....yet there is a quite scary propositon that goes around and says that jee was never this easy and there have been claims of cutoff rising to 220--some say even 250....while the latter claim seems to be quite absurd you still do think WHAT IF......

but it will be all there for everyone to see tomorrow and the world will be drawn into a 'I TOLD YOU SO' battle again

the surprises are far from over people.....and whatever happens now is simply in the hands of destiny but one thing is for sure THIS HAS BEEN THE JOURNEY OF MY LIFE and its still not over :)

dont know about it being easier or same ...all i wanted 2 say was that i dont trust the hrd dept whom u were quoting...cause it has arjun singh...anyways 2006 couldnt hv been the toughest jee ever...subjectives are much tougher and some of the quesns were really easy that 2 for 5m ...remember d hoffmann bromamide comp..or the mg2+quesn...sum of them were real easy and that too 4 5 m arks....not the match d folls type this year (they were much less last yr) that gave u nothing mostly.....and even sum of the subj. quesn last yr were quite easy.......and seeing 50% getting 500 rank was hard 2 beleive 4 me....
