power of lens has S.I unit as dioptre ,denoted by D .
p = 1/ focal length (in metre), in the numerator its one , therefore its not refractive index of surrounding , power of lens is indirectly proportional to focal lenght in metre

as far as i kno u cant open the compiler
after writing a program u have to compile it and thn run the program .....
in case u want to see all the corresponding files of turbo c++ thn go to my documents and view ur files

light actualll having dual nature -particle and wave nature
