i hope to get something at pilani campus after the next iterations....
does that mean that there is a chance that i may get a BPharm instead of a BE if i'm doin bio sc??

i'm gettin a msc. in bits goa(bitsat score 280).......and electronics nd communication in nit durgapur(aieee rnk-9200)....

wud it b worthwhile to opt for an msc. in bits and wait for a BE in dual degree???

or shud i opt for electronics in nit dgp??

in whose favor should the demand draft for aiee counseling be made??

i did not recieve my aieee admt card,not evn aftr applying for the duplicate copy..

at the centre i was asked to sign a kind of undertaking,and the authorities gave me a copy of that....but i did not hav ny admt card...

those students had not received their admt cards before the exam,did any of you receive them aftr the exam was conducted?isnt it required to be produced at the counselling??

wt b.e. u gt depends on the grades u gt aftr first year..
with ur score...u r 100% assured of an msc hons in pilani....

yup...the govt now wants to upgrade a pvt college in bengal,the BIET to iit status...just coz the managing commitee of dat insti has the lok sabha spkr as its prez...
thn they r plannin to open 5-6 more iits in d nxt 3-4 yrs,...wt tomfoolery is this??
tell me....does usa try to build an mit in evry state...or does uk try to bring up more oxfords and cambridges just for the sake of showing dat education is being givn priority??

well....the practical reason of using a potentiometre to measure the emf or the internal resistance of a cell is that a potentiometer employs the concept of using the potential drop across a wire,comparing which gives a more accurate measurement.
it compares the potential drop of due to the component to be measured against the potential drop due to a cell of known emf(driver cell)..
as such,ny increase in the resistance of wires nd of the driver cell will not influence the measurement, as it requires comparing potential drops across the potentiometer wires.....
similarly,in ideal metre bridge arrangement,the voltmetre shud hv infinite resistance,while ammeter shud hv zero resistance,which can never be achieved practically....
but in potentiometer circuit,these factors do not influence the measurements,as we compare only potential drop across potentiometer wire...so,measurement is more accurate.
