its very grave situation indeed ,we are the future of india and we have to understand these issues those peole who say these things are rubbish will realize when one of their family members would  suffer  in these attacks.

I have been to all over INDIA and whenever such things happen the security is beefed up only for a month  then afterwards they get back to their business of ignorance.

Really shame,I would say this congress government is also responsible for these attcks as they never gave capital punishment to  any terrorists for their vote bank.

I don't think blindly solving H.C.VERMA will make you even qualify for aieee bcoz without proper concept it is hard to crack competition .

and whoever says iit -jee 's quality of questions has decreased are fooling themselves.

In my view you should only focus right now on 12th board and side by side prepare for aieee or other state level exams coz seeing your track record it will be great accomplishment if  you even crack the state level exams in first attempt.

the last rank upto thapar has taken is air 49,545

which is really a shame.

and really everybody should mind their language.

I would say go for bansal as fiitjee is not good for droppers.

firstly they finish the course in february end

aits starts in the middle of course and u r made to go through mental agony of not having even able to score 35%.

ur given only 1 month for preparing and revising for jee.

So,my advice don't look for fiitjee or any other inst. which completes its course in such a way.

Initial placement of even BITS pilani is meagre 4.5lacs but you can't judge that BITS pilani is below iit-g,iit-r or ism.

let me tell you one thing

the highest placement for iit was 80,000dollars/annum  when a US company  visited iit  .But ,recently I got to know that even a loan recovery officer in USA earns 6,500 dollars/month i.e, 78,000 dollars /annum & its qualifications are same as we have here in our country 's banks.

So, can we compare engg. graduate with an bank officer.

As far,I see except iits other good institutes have not even broken the 7 lac slab let alone 80,000dollars.

So, these foreign companies visiting are seriously exploiting non iit's inst..

If,you check out MIT's ,CALTECH etc websites there happens no campus recruitment as companies readily take their students when out & pays handsomely a/c USA payscales.

So,pls. don't go by avg. salary, just go by the legacy behind the college & its facilities.

Also, I would say don't leave DAIICT if ur getting it

If you know or not the mechanical branch of NIRMA is even gud than IIT-d!!

the mech engg. students of nirma have won the  ROBOCON contest  for 4 times since its inception in about 2000.

So,you can't say NIRMA is not so good college I think it should be judged by the % of students GATE qualified and no. of students stud. in IIMs,ISB etc

Also,from what i recollect NIRMA is place for really serious people & even I have applied .

If you r fun loving person then NIRMA isn't the place for u,I don't say iit /nits /bits r for fun loving but see the distractions in these colleges.

BITS has no regulations on attendance nor do they care what u r doing also u have wifi campus  so, many distractions.(Also, getting BITS hyd.) whereas NIRMA has 80% strict attendance regulation.

well I have made up my mind for NIRMA because I seriously want to go for R&D.

And if u talk to their alumni they  will surely agree that going to NIRMA was the best decision they have made .

So,It all depends on ur decision .

But is BIT patna good or comparable to these inst.!!!

NIT surat is not among top rung NIT's but if you compare average salary even NIT patna has better average salary than NIRMA  but DAIICT is a differnrt thing and if u  r getting it  then go for it .

But,even I would prefer NIT surat OVER DAIICT bcoz over the time u would feel that NITs offer more lucrative job placements due to their brand & the flame of NITs would not cease to such Institutes.
