P Bahadur has both practice as well as theory books but
R C Mukherjee has only practice book. If u want practice book then
R C Mukherjee is better and for theory P Bahadur is good.

u dont need to fill form for mesra admission is given through aieee.

correspondence course of fiitjee is of no use & i don't know about
brilliant. i took 2yr course of fiitjee & used 2 get books in which there were very few examples and less theory so i was uanable to solve those questions. also they were of standard higher than iit.
and in the test series out of about 20-25 tests only a few were of iit pattern. even the one which was just a week before iit was not on the pattern.
u shud buy books meant for iit of all sujects and all topics
they will be more helpful than correspondence course.

i advise u to select books meant for JEE only and not the books like morrison or resnick or any other book about any subject,
books for JEE will give u a better idea about the type of questions in JEE.
i recommend hc verma and any book for JEE in physics
ML Khanna for maths
and NCERT and arihant for chem
