yes the electric field due to a conducting cone can be found if the electric field is perpendicular to its base(circle)

then =E.r2(area of base circle)

E=/r2

hope u got it.

we know that in a biquadratic eqn.

since all roots r real by descartes rules of signs

a5+b5+c5+d5=5pq in the general eqn. of 4th degree x^4+px^2+qx+r=0, where a,b,c,d r the roots.

a5+b5+c5+d5=-105

hope u got it..

i m not confident still i m trying

IIxI-4I=a has only one soln is given

we know that it can always have 2 values of x for 1 a one +ve and 1 -ve.

but as it is given to have 1 soln and not 2

therefore x=0

putiing x=0 we get

a=4

tell me if i m right.

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Algebra -> Give wuth justificationa natural no. n for which 3^9+3^12+3^15+3^n is a perfect cube -> Go to message
This Post 5 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 1 votes )   [?]

hey dude it is easy

39+312+315+3n=a3 where a

taking log both sides

9log3+12log3+15log3+nlog3=3loga

3log3+4log3+5log3+n/3log3=loga

log(33 x 34 x 3x 3n/3)=loga

taking antilog

312+n/3=a

therefore for a to be a perfect cube n should be a multiple of 9.

smallest n=9.

hope u got it.........

2nd ques

from where u get such ques man?

Tell me if I m going inthe right dir.

As I see p(x2)=(p(x))2 is possible only when x=0 and equating we get

a0 =a02  which gives a0=0 or a0=1.

it is also possible when x=1and on equating we get

(a0+a1+.......+an)=(a0+......+an)2

which again gives  (a0+ .......+an)=0 or (a0+.........+an)=1.
