Dear friends,I am a student of class-12 preparing for Eamcet and AIEEE.I am able to solve the numericals in maths,physics and chemistry.But regarding Chemistry,I have a little problem in theory bits.I am facing a bit difficulty in groups.Not knowing how to apply the logic in theory bits.Though I read them,I am getting confused in them.Please suggest me the way to read them.Please help me.

  Direct Nitration of Aniline is not possible because Conc.HNO3 is a strong oxidising agent.      Hence,aniline gets oxidised to brown tarry products.Therefore the activating nature of Aniline should be decreased in order to make it undergo nitration.This is done by treating Aniline with Acetyl chloride.
