noble gases rarely react with other elements or compounds...they have a complete and stable config hence they need not react....only under certain special conditions do they react....

due to this property they r considered noble....and hence called so..

consider d 1st part of d motion when it reaches d highest point
v=u+at
0=u-gt
t=u/g
now..
s=ut+1/2gt^2
s=1/2gu^2/g^
s=u^/2g

now d second part of motion
v=u+at
3u=0+gt
t=3u/g
now....
s=ut+1/2gt^2
s=9u^2/2g
by subtraction..of d first distance frm d second distance...
h=4u^2/g
