dear friends,
i am preparing for iit jee 2008 and i have joined no institutes. i am preparing by the way of self study.
my main problem is that i am not able to study for the jee 2008 due to the pressure of the boards.
i have got the books like resnick, halliday walker , then hcv ,then op agrawal, ml khanna and many other books.
other of my problem is that as per my calculations i hardly get 25 hours per week for study. and i have to for the boards also.
one more(main) problem : the thing is that whenever i complete a particular topic (i.e. concept as well as the numericals), the other day i am not able to recollect what did I study. this is my major problem which i am not able to overcome. and ya friends, if you have got any tips to stay awake at night and that too actively, then please do include them.

This year I am entering standard 12th and aiming to give JEE and AIEEE the next year. I am currently enrolled in BT and I can not study properly from it. Even a somewhat hard numerical depresses me and then I am not able to continue. For Physics I have H.C.Verma and Irodov. I have solved some of the problems related to mechanics from Irodov. Please guide me how to start reading from BT and H.C.Verma. I have wasted my 11th standard to a considerable extent. I have a very good hold over mathematics.All my PET of BT were very bad. Please give some tips to improve in such tests and also for the problem mentioned above.

My name is Nisu and I am presently studying in standard 11.I am an IIT JEE 2008 aspirant.One of my problems is that I get just 25 hours a week to study for my school exams,tution exams etc.I do not get time to prepare for either IIT JEE or AIEEE.I have recently joined Brilliant Tutorials.I want to know how should I prepare for each and every subject related to IIT JEE and AIEEE,especially in Physics.Please give some tips for preparation in Physics and other subjects.I had scored 89.43% marks in Std.10th state board examination.How should be my approach towards the preparation of IIT JEE 2008 and AIEEE 2008? What should be my pattern and style for studying for the above two entrance exams? Is there any other matter of which I should take care of?
One more thing about which I want to draw your attention is that in my 12th standard I will be getting about 30 hours to study due to change in my tution timings.Please suggest me which books should I refer to for the preparation of the above two entrance exams in addition to Brilliant's correspondence,especially for Physics.In what way should I prepare from the Brilliant's correspondence?Please give me some tips for the preparation of Physics.I have a good control over Mathematics and Chemistry but my weak point is Physics.I just get nervous on seeing any numerical and so I am not able to solve them.Please suggest me how should I develop my skill for solving numericals.How should I plan for the preparation of IIT JEE 2008? Is one and a half year sufficient to prepare for IIT JEE 2008 and AIEEE 2008? Is the correspondence of Brilliant suffient or excellent or satisfactory for the preparation in Physics,Chemistry and Maths? May I ask you how did you prepare for your IIT JEE exam?And last thing, what sould I score to get admission in any one of the IITs? Which one is the best branch of IIT for Computer Science?
