You forget to mention NIT Calicut , Nit Silcharr , Nit bhopal , NIT Surat and NIT durgapur..

Dude i am from NIT rourkela and have seen VIT also..
My friend jamjam is from NIT jaipur and has seen vit also..
Both of us are saying that vit is nothing infront of any NIT (forget the ranking be it be from india today or outlook or any othre magzine )..
then why aint you ready to accept the fact ..
are we 2 lieing or u think that you know the best and we all are dumb..

each and evry guy on this forum knows the reality of vit and some of the most rated members are also saying so sill the stupid moron vitians are trying to defend..
accept it guys that at present i mean at this very moment there is no standing of vit infront of other great engineering colleges of india like iit , nit , bits maybee vit is best and has a 10 rank in country like pakistan but not in india...

See guys at present VIT is not comparable to IIT's Bits or Nits . Dont know abt the future but at present it is no where in the vicinity so bettr we should accept this fact and stop fighting..

You are saying that vit is comparable to NITS then let me tell u that i myself am a student of NIY rourkela which is con sidered just an average NIT and is below NITs at trichy , warangal , surutkal , jaipur , bhopal and i have seen vit also last yer as i by mistake attended the counsllig and i am sure about the fact that vit is no ware comparable to nit rourkela in any respect forget abt comparing to other nits which i have mentioned..

Dude stop foolling yourself and other people on this forum . In the fobes ranking for the year 2008 VIT is not even in the first 70 colleges . In the first 20 places are the 7 iit's , ism , bhu , then comes 8 nit's , and bits and dce and nsit. Fobes is considered the best and the most reliable ranking world over..

Hey i have qualified for EML but nothing is mentioned abt counslling schedule and place of counslling...

See i applied in the pd (physically disabled ) category last year so know abt it..
Last year 15 candidates were shorlisted for the admission to iits and ism and bhu under this category out of which only 7 were able to pass the medical test . The highest marks obtained in this category was 285 and the lowest marks (cut off marks) was 185..
By the way what score are you getting this time ??

no no need for any passwrd . i have been taking out the result of my entire school from the last 3 years but onlt this year they are requiring us to feed the affiliation number otherwiese previous year only your school code was required which is mentioned in your admit card..
