level of exam is not same for everyone and not every year and u can't comment on the level of students by the the level of xam coz level of xam only decides general level of marks and not students who qualify . Good students get through every xam irrespective of its level

but one thing is for sure, bits is not bad at all

actually i didn't expect that i will get chem dual my jee air was 1256 and i had my eyes on industrial production delhi. after that i just filled form on the basis of last year merit. this came as a shock.
But now i hv made mymind to go to bombay.
ANYONE ELSE GOING THERE PLEASE SHARE SOME INFORMATION WITH ME. THANKS AGAIN

experts please reply fast . we need to decide quickly as last date for fees submission is 13th july in BITS PILANI . should we go for IIT-Bombay or bits pilani?

My son has been allotted chemical dual degree at iit bombay.I have some aprehensions about scope of chemical engineering and job oppurtunities in it.

Secondly is wasting one more year(fifth year) worth it considering he may get computers in bits pilani(his score in BITSAT is 378). He as such has no particular liking for a particular branch but we want to choose best for him.

PEC is also an option(aieee air 719)

what should be our course of action?

i, like my other friends had taken PHYSICAL EDUCATION as optional in the school. Considering this is it necessary for me to join some course as i know not even the basics of C/C++ or can i rely upon what is taught to me in college to have command on these languages.

please someone reply . its urgent as if it is so important then i'll have to join a course immediately as very less time is left in beginning of my classes. PLEASE ANSWER

I wanted to know if it was necessary to know C/C++ LANGUAGE before going to IITs. Is it needed for cse/ee students or for everybody. Do they teach us this language in the IITs itself and when do we need this?

I am getting CHEMICAL-DUAL at IIT-BOMBAY and also electrical and electronics at bits pilani in the first iteration which will easily turn into computer science in the second one. What should i opt for? please help me with genuine suggestions.
