aiee nvr calls 4 lakh students 4 counsellin dude...arnd 40-50 thousand,,n tht too cuz of state quotas n stuff..now i thnk thrs no state quota as such socutoffs mite hv gone up..n abt the NRI thng..u shud hv given ur AIEEE n acc 2 tht u'll get thru ur choices..
but dont 4get to fill up the form 4 DASA quota as well..but in tis the criteria for being a an NRI is strict n thy induct only thru thier board or 12th xams....so if u dont hv gus=d AIEEE score..u may go 4 DASA....
n obviously u'll find the link in AIEEE official site..just chk it
btw m frm NIT CALICUT..here's the toughest competition for NRI n DASA

listen tht totally depends on which NIT ur talkin abt.....gettin a gud branch in southern NITs is gonna be tough,but behold u'll get wtvr u want in northen NITs barrin allahabad ofcourse.m frm NIT calicut,so lemme give a rough idea abt my coll.wth tht u can maybe get a mech,but for sure abt civil nd chem nd production

but now its up 2 u to decide wthr u wanna njoy as well as study.i mean thye coll life as well as gud placements.....so i can help u thr. m in NIT CALICUT so i got a fair idea....
among all NIT suratkal is the best fun to be in..trichy the worst,thn warangal n thn calicut....mind u talkin abt fun,city life n xactly coll life...since all of thm r gr8 its upto u..NIT suratkal is fun...
n yaa cat,lemme tell u ,in my coll thr r innumerable 1000 rankers.n 5 or 6 above one thousand,so it really doesnt matter...

hey arpistsri. i'll say never go 4 the predictions b4 u even write the xams... i kno ur all anxious nd all. but try 2 convert into preparin even harder.. neways i''ll say.. even i use 2 get 70 percentile for brilliants last year...
nd now m in NIT CALICUT...nd got into just the extended merit list.....got AIR 5979...
so just try hard rite now

guys i appeared for AIEEE last year. i'll tell u. thrs no individual cutoff 4 any particular subject... just have 2 pass the totaal cutoff...

nd also ... y r u guys goin after private institutes even b4 u have appeared 4 ur AIEEE xams... guys seriously government insti rocks
the infrastructure might not be as gr8 as those private ones, but its bcoz they r all so old nd reputed....

avg was 2.5
lowest 1.3 lac...
not tht gr8 considering the facts thr innumerable NITs who post a better placements result tht this,ven also u r payin sum 10 lac 4 the complete course...
