A hollow charged conductor has a tiny hole cut into its surface. Show that the electric field in the hole is (/2o)n^, where n^ is the unt vector in the outward normal diretion and  is the surface charge density near the hole.

Yes of course the distance between the plates is going to be less than by h but the area of the plates is going to be the same, the rest is going to be same
So capacitance will be (epsilon not*Area/(d-h))
Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Remember when gravitation is considered no air resistance or friction due to the air is considered whether u make fall a coin or an elephant from the same height, they r going to reach the ground in the same time theoretically. However it does not happen in reality. It is the air drag that makes the difference.

In the case of projectile all the cases are considered without air friction only. That's why all the exprssion for time period, range come out to be without any term of MASS.
