Physics is an experimental science. These are things from experiments and common observation.

It can't be explained that way. We can find reasons from quantum mechanics and string theory. But still its too fundamental.

Dude, for me, I find Electronics confusing. The next would be optics.

All other topics are great and elegant. Ahh !!

Today, I got a book called "Physics by Resnick & Halliday) from my friend's house. I looked it up. And, its old. Its a 1978 book. Its 3rd edition. And, no, there's no Krane. Just Resnick and Halliday. Here's a quick compilation of the above data :-
