there r two stationary mutual perpendicular intersecting axes.

two bodies with constant angular velocity  1  and  2 r rotating about the given two axes.

find the relative angular acc. of one wrt to other..
mind u the answer is not 0.

let the mass of the body be m, and angle of inclination be theta.

ignoring friction,

mg.sin(theta) = m.a

a=g sin(the.)

1/2= 0 + 1/2 .gsin(theta) .(1/2)^2

= sin(theta) = 4/10

= a= 4

v ( after have second) = (2*4*1/2) ^ 1/2

v= 2

now

1/2 = 2t + 2t^2

t= 0.21 seconds

Ignore the negative value in quad. since time cant be -ve.

Plz. rate me!!!

Spring fitted doors close by themselves when released.You want to keep the door open for a long time say 1hr.
if you put a half kg stone in front of the open door ,it does not help. The stone slides with the door and the door
gets closed.However if u sandwich 20g pice of wood in the small gap between the door and the floor,the door stays open.
Explain why a much lighter piece of wood is able to keep the door open while the heavy stone fails..

Please explain with help of suitable forces.
Please give sensible answers, since i have had many stupid answers for my previous quests.

For most surfaces used in daily life, the friction coefficient is less than 1.
Is is always necessary that the friction coefficient is less than 1?

Also,
Can a tug of war be even won on a frictionless surface??Why?

IF a vehichle is moving on a straight path, we can predict the acceleration by the angle made by the pendulum with the vertical .  tan theta = a/g

What if the vehicled is moving along a inclined path (angle of inclination = alpha) , can we use this method to find the acc, if yes ,, how? If no, plz suggest some other suitable technique.

to prove,

((a^2+1) / (b+c)) + ((c^2+1) / (a+b)) + ((b^2+1) / (a+c)) > 3

a body takes time 't' to reach a maximum height when projected vertically downwards.

calculate the time reaquired for it to reach half the max. height.

answer should be in terms of t only.

explain the steps please.
