last year even i joined dce ece branch and prepared for iit see the effort you put in now is related to the level of preparedness in your first attempt and your confidence even then i would suggest you to go for vmc corr and resonance corr as res is amazing in theory and vmc is good for practise this is because if you practise these packages you will find that they will cover a lot of god questions of the books mentioned but still you could still follow imp books like hcv irodov mukherjee(chem) pksharma(maths)

see ashish why do you want it for aieee only if you will prepare for aieee then why not focus on iit as well but in any case i can tell you from personal experience that resonance gives better theory it actually has the best theory for chemistry but it is not so good for questions as they are a bit low level so go for brilliant for questions as they maintain a good level in questions for all subjects.

hey harneet this is nitin i am doing ece from dce so on the basis of personal experience i can tell you that dce is definetely better than suratkal and now that it is becoming dtu things are only going to get better.

i think you should go for resonance packages for chemistry it is best for theory but you could go for either those or arihant objective on chemistry and also disha's book on inorganic chemistry as it provides good ways to memorise important facts of inorganic also arihant's organic chemistry book is really good.

i got 2545 rank in iit after following these books
