@adhikar .. itz ok man .. just ws rlly pi**** at this guys attitude .. that stuid guy is arguing that i remained quiet .. wt an idiott .. nd on top of it he dusnt wanna listen .... this attitude enrages me a lot ! i never said goa is bad but yes on a comparitive way pilaniis much better than goa .. bt sumhw ppl dnt feel like listening now days ( i m sure this will be taken care off in his clg fr sure >.. :D )

see itz more iof a perception .. chemical is a gud branch neday .. pl just tend to prefer comp cz it offers instant gud placemments plus lesses taxing environments .. same hlds fr civil too ..
the thing is being a chemical eng ite not gurantee u a gud initial placement but 2-3 yrs down the line theres a lott of growth ...
nd i guess the comp mania is mainly cz many ppl think "they are born to be computer eng " mainly cz comp is what they have handld always .. they havent played with chemicals nd factories and stuff ..
beleive me ppl entering clg have 0 info bt what a branch luks like ... thasts y cs etc . are prefered nd chemical is perceived to be bad
but it certainly isnt

lastly .. m not running a forum fr pilani here .. but yes i will saty majority options of pilani are better than goa ( strike out pharma ) .. cz i never said otherwise

i will say again itz all a matter of a viewpoint .. personally i wudve prefferd mech at dce ... chosing eee at goa if u want go ahead .. in a matter of 4 yrs things will be stable .... bt still ask some goa ppl apart from this forum also ... my frend at goa says u shud prefer mech ... but incase u manage cs go there

look ... u cnt compare the 2 branches in ne way ?? i mean can u compare wt is better history or physics ... u cnt ... both have equal opportunities and packages etc. are similar .. u acnt demarcate .. yes at grd level eni placements will be better nd civil job is more tidious ... but still both branches are equally respected .. u cnt put civil > eni in ne way or vice versa itz just a matter of stupid perceoptuion from ppl which changes everyday ..
as both coleges are gud chose between the either ... wt interestes u holds highest .. but if u r rlly scared abt concept of extreme tidious job then take eni

for cs ... chose bw iiit hyd nd bits ... both wil be gud faculty at iiit hyd is better certainly ... bits has the brand better han iiit .. so itz a tuff call

agree with ur answer ... but umentioned eni too so i said .. yes mech placemenst are not at par with eee // cs nsait i agree to that ..
just in the long run i feel bits brand will hold up much more than nsit ... nd yes it is also to clear a isconception that cs is much greater than mech which is not rly true .. just the start u get in cs is gud plus mech in india isnt that well nown ...nd yes u get more time in nsit than bits fr sure .. buthonestly spking even iit shud be avoided at such a rate
