in my humble opinion, presently, BITS goa>NIT surat>BITS hyderabad....but 3-4yrs frm now, it wud b BITS hyd>BITS goa>NITsurat

i recommend BITS pilani CSE if u want a gud branch...waise BITS pilani aur IIT roorkee same standard ka hai...so unless u r really longing for d IIT tag, definitely go for BITS pilani...

yes chem engi has very gud prospects in d research field both in india and abroad...but its not so gud in placements as d oder branches...
