use avogad law... at identical temp and pressure, equal amounts (in moles) of a gas occupy equal volumes... So the ratio of their weights will be the ratio of their molecular weights ie 12+32 : 32+32=

44:64=11:16=0.6875

Acc to Rayleigh Jeans law, Energy density is proportional to 1/λ4.

It implies that even at room temp, we are bombarded with large amounts of short-wavelenght radiation which is an absurd result, called UV catastrophe.

PS: AFAIK, its not in the JEE syllabus.

for 2 reasons- under these conditions, the molecules are spread widely apart-  intermolecular forces are negligible

- The volume occupied by the molecules themselves is negligible compared to the volume occupied by the gas.

 Use the equation for projectile:

y= x tan60 +g x2sec260/202   .......................................(1)

Plug in the values(y=5, trigo values) and solve the quadratic for x.

Now differentiate eqn (1) wrt x and put the values. the value of y' will be the slope.

NB: you will get two values of x

If u pull with a jerk, the lower string will break first, because the mass tends to stay where it is to some extent due to inertia... when u pull slowly, the top string will break cuz of more tension.

In org, our sir had taught us d song for priority of funct groups:

Carboxylic sulphonic anhydride celebrated easter with halide and amide. Nitrile and aldehyde could not attend because ketone consumed alcohol and shouted mi ke ky

therefore in decreasing priority

Carboxylic acid

Sulphonic Acid

Acid Anhydride

Ester (from 'easter' in the song)

Acid Halide

Amide

Nitrile

Aldehyde

Ketone

Alcohol

amines

alkenes

alkynes

Hope u get it :)

i think its the 2nd one that will b faster.

Its basically β elimination.

by markonikoff rule, the middle Hs will b preferably removed...

in 1st case, this is difficult, as the middle β carbon is sp2 hybridized.

uv light causes free radicals of chlorine 2 b formed.

These free radicals can only attach to the side chain(methyl group in this case) and not to the benzene ring..

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Algebra -> what is tan pie/2. undefined or infinity? why do we use both the results?? -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

 tan π/2 is undefined

as x tends to π/2 from the left, tanx tends to ∞

as x tends to π/2 from the right, tanx tends to -∞

undefined means, 'it has no exact value'

∞ means bigger than any number you can think of....

No, the questions, especially of the exercise is higher dan bitsat. But I highly recommend that you solve them, at least as many as you can. Solving tough problems makes you feel that the moderately difficult ones are easy ;) And Solve ALL the objectives, they are purely concept based and you can expect such questions to come in your bitsat :)
