well....not dat much serious dat u are thinking of suicide....lifez precious....derz nothing above it/...

u dint started ur preps , fine....it happens....

u can start them now.....u got still much time to prepare........dont worry....study for 3 hours/subject daily , and u will be running fine till feb....dont think dat u are doing d same topic again coz u are just studying fr IIT not whole worlds' problems....for confidence....well u will only get it when u will study and solve some good qs....mind it , when u will solve 2-3 qs urself....(hard ones) , u will be confident.....atleast 50-60% confident....

u got to start ur preps now , therez nt much time left......4-5 months u got..........

also....

abt TV , well dat only u can do when u realize wat IIT n its preps means , if u disconnect ur cable network.....ur mind will be diverted towards pc.....

soo u got to realize dat if u study for 5 months , u will be successful... 5 months out of ur life....and u are fame.....

soo...dec ision is urs

seperating these 2 we get

I = (dx / (sinx(cos²x - sin²x)^1/2) - 2 (sinx / (2cos²x - 1)^1/2)

take cot x = a cos x = b and solve u will get the answer....

i think this is due to large electron density in the region between the nuclei (in BMO), as a result , repulsions b/w the nuclei is very small....but in antibonding MO , electron density is very less....so nuclei repel from each other....these repulsions are very large , so ABMO is raised with much higher energy

well that book is a must for clearing your concepts.....basic concepts i mean , but for objective qs you must follow books like P Bahadur , R C Mukharjee etc , you can practice some real hard questions there...even dinesh is great :)

well its not like that

once u understand the order of properties in a particular group , its not much difficult....
u will have a little problem in reactions.....try to learn by writing....well....rest mugg up (bt i dun think u will remember all...)
if u want to learn for board exams.....see the reactions of last 10 year exams....it might help u
but its not like whole inorganic is about mugging , u can never learn nethng by mugging....atleast in competitive exams...

well u need to practice a lot be it chem/phy/maths

learn by writing
never try to mugg up
wenever u do some theory....practice some objective qs of that topic too
try to increase ur speed , set some qs and time.....and complete those qs in dat much time
behonest to urself....
chemistry is the easiest and most scoring subject (it doesnt consume much time) , so study as hard as u can.....it will help u to achieve a better rank..

i dont think so , u can give IIT when u pass ur 12th std and the following year....

well u can go for FIITJEE's or Brilliant's or narayana's test series for AIEEE.....dey are almost the same , u can go for ne1 of these
also u can give some online mock tests here on goiit (later...i guess)

its good that hez serious for IIT..still its quite early for him to study for it
2 years are enough for IIT preps.....make sure he performs well in school exams ,so that his confidence and interest remains good ....rest he will cover up.....in 11th , 12th...

well if u take admission in any of the IIT's , u are not eligible to give the exam again

however if u take a full drop or take admission in any other clg , u are allowed to write JEE

but (as i did the same...) i wont suggest u to go for a full drop , take admission in IIT as u are not sure what will happen next time , even if u prepare with full dedication , u still might ntget selected

and with a rank of 2k , u will get a very good branch in new IIT's

inorganic chem , well some part is about understanding and some part u really have to mug up.......
like if u understand the order of acidity and basicity etc , u can do that for any group
and u have to mugg up some of the reaction
inorganic chemistry is the easiest and time saving part in d exam as u dun have to solve numerically or by writing reactions and all
so keep it strong
