study trigonometry by k c sinha.it is best book for trigo on the earth according to me. it is both irodov and h.c.verma as u use it. Publishers of book are STUDENTS FRIENDS PATNA. solve simple problems first and then try to battle the tough ones
Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Mechanics -> rotational dynamics help needed [Admin]: moment of Inertia -> Go to message

moment of inertia of continous mass systems can be calculated by integration.
 KEY STEPS-
1.write dm of a small element which is at a distance dx from the axis of rotation.
2.use I  =  integral of r2dm  over the entire length, area or volume respectively as you have chosen linear mass density (  ) , surface mass density (  ) , volume mass density (  ) for writing dm.
3.remember standard formulas for ring disc cone hollow and solid sphere etc. and use it for writing dI  and integrate.

when a man sits on chair the weight of man acts on man itself.actually it acts directly to centre of gravity.the magnitude of force is mg and direction is towards the centre of earth.
