i think 75% attendance is compulsory
take a max of 1 holiday per week rt now and towards the end(oct,nov onwards)
take 2 holidays per weer.
anycase cbse marks not imp anywhere in your life
just try to get 80-85 % which i am sure u will get it comfortably if u r studying well for iits.

i visited the roorkee capmus yestreday.
i have been alloted production&industrial engg.
i came to know that the syllabus of mechanical and this branch is nearly very same except for few chapters and most of the time the students of the 2 branches study together.
i am also getting ece at NSIT
which one will u prefer?
i also had a doubt
how do students studying at IITR study for GRE and MBA as there are no coaching centres(maybe) over there as it is cutoff from the man cities.
how are the placements of IITR compared with rest of the iits?
is roorkee equally as good as all the other iits

i am saying that i will need to give 70-80 options bcos it may be possible that a course which i may not have got on basis of last year's opening and closing rank , this year i may get them.

can anyone please tell me what will be done on the day of iit counselling.
the iit brochure says that instant seat allocation will not be done
the back of the brochure has a choice sheet in which we can fill 108 or more options.
where should we fill this choice sheet
at home or at the counseling centre
if we have to fill it up at the conselling centre then how can we fill 70-80 options so quickly in front of the counselors.
do we have to take a self prepared choice sheet(a word computer printout) to the conselling centre and fill the choice sheet taking the help of the same.
all iitians who have gone through the iit conselling plz reply
because then only i can prepare the choice sheet in which i give 80-90 options .
