hi,

if options are provided
you need to understand that the more bigger the dc the more terms will cancel out,so by looking at the options make out which terms are not present,
concentrate on removing that term(s) or its dc.

one day i saw an article written on black holes.it was written that "
light could not escape because THE ESCAPE VELOSITY OF A PARTICLE INCREASES WITH DECREASE IN ITS SIZE   but this concept contradicts the formula which is independent of mass of particle.

let us consider the case of selecting a sign(+ve/-ve)
out of + - + - ....+ where total signs are 17.
but nou 17th sign(as it will become consicutive)
similarly we select people

therefore answer should be:

= 2  *  8c7

let the people sitting be in sequence + - + - + - + -.............+

so basically we have to select 7 signs (positive egative)out of respective number.

therefore answer should be 8c7+8c7

Find the set of values for which the equation

(x2+x)2 +a(x2+x)+4=0      has 4 distinct roots.

hints:

use by taking x2+x=t
also
t2+a+4=0 {use quadratic to find restrictions on t }
