NIT Surathkal is the third ranked NIT at the moment after trichy and warangal. But according to experts it is on the decline .However the good news for u is that the comp sc at surathkal is among the best after the iits. plus it has an airport nearby which enables most of the very best IT companies to come there. The presence of an airport makes a lot of difference. BTW I have taken CS at NIT Warangal.

I have been alloted computer science in nit warrangal. As i am not from Andhra pradesh. I would like to know when are the admission formailities doneand hostel rooms can be booked as i am in a position to eport earlier than the last date.

I am on the basis of my state rank able to get mech in trichy,warrangal and surathkal. However i am more interested in IT at surathkal. Would a mech at trichy be better to IT at surathkal in both short term placements and long term career opportunities in India. Please reply and how many % people from mech finally land core sector jobs from these top three nits.
